Victor Clavell, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Hotel Arts Barcelona stated, “It is a great honour to receive both of these distinctions in an increasingly competitive market. In addition, Barcelona was awarded silver in the “Best Overseas Conference Destination” category. London was awarded first place and Berlin won the bronze.
The Conference & Incentive Travel Hot List is designed to celebrate the best destinations, venues and suppliers for events across 12 categories with gold, silver and bronze place awarded in each. More than 400 event planners representing some of the biggest brands and their corporate travel budgets voted across an eight-week period. The winners received recognition at a gala event held at One Aldwych in London on 30th September.
